Frequently Asked Questions
There are two ways to rent a storage unit:
- Online, via our website, by choosing the space that best suits your needs and completing the booking quickly and securely.
- In person, by visiting our office, where we’ll be delighted to advise you and help you find the storage unit that best suits your needs.
Individuals: A valid ID card, passport or NIE.
Businesses: The company’s CIF and the ID card of the authorized representative.
We do not require long-term contracts. The minimum rental period is one month.
After that first month, the contract will be automatically renewed with each monthly payment, so you can continue to use your storage unit without needing to sign a new contract. If at any point you decide to end the rental, you simply need to notify us in accordance with the terms set out in your contract.
The first payment covers the remaining days of the calendar month in which the contract begins and the full amount for the following calendar month.
For example, if you rent your storage unit on 20 July, the first payment will cover the remaining days of July and the full month of August. Thereafter, the rent will be paid monthly on a calendar-month basis.
You can access your storage unit during Viking Self Storage’s opening hours, which are published on our website and on our Google business page.
During these hours, you can come and go as often as you need to. Furthermore, Viking staff will be on site to help you if you need assistance.
If you no longer need your storage unit, simply let us know at least 15 days before the end of the period you have already paid for.
This will allow us to process the termination of your contract correctly and prevent it from being renewed for the next period.
